Welcome to MyBeautyPick (“MyBeautyPick,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of mybeautypick.com and the online courses, downloadable resources, and related services we offer (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing a course, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About MyBeautyPick

MyBeautyPick is an online learning platform offering professional beauty, skincare, makeup, hair, nails, barbering, aesthetics, and wellness courses. We provide self-paced digital training with lifetime access, certificates of completion, and expert-led content designed for both beginners and working professionals, along with downloadable learning resources and educational materials.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a course or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at info@mybeautypick.com of any unauthorized use.

3. Course Access and Lifetime Access License

When you purchase a course, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view that course for personal, non-commercial, educational use. “Lifetime access” means you may access the course for as long as MyBeautyPick continues to make that course and platform available; it does not guarantee access in perpetuity if a course is retired, the platform changes providers, or the business ceases operation, in which case we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

4. Payments and Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and are payable at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Paddle.com, which acts as our authorized reseller and merchant of record for these transactions. Prices displayed on the Services are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar tax; Paddle, as merchant of record, calculates and adds the correct tax based on your location, and the final tax-inclusive total is shown before you complete your purchase. Where a course is offered at a discounted or introductory price, the current sale price and the regular (full) price are both displayed together on the course page; any such discount applies to a one-time purchase only and does not involve a recurring or subscription charge. By making a purchase, you also agree to Paddle’s applicable buyer terms.

5. Refunds

Purchases are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, subject to the conditions described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Certificates of Completion

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of a course to recognize your achievement and are intended for personal and professional development. Unless explicitly stated on a course page, our certificates are not accredited by a government body or professional licensing authority, and it is your responsibility to confirm whether a certificate meets any regulatory, licensing, or continuing-education requirements in your jurisdiction or industry.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) share, sell, sublicense, or redistribute your account, course content, or downloadable materials to any third party; (b) copy, reproduce, or publicly display course videos or materials outside the platform; (c) use the Services for any unlawful purpose; or (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services.

8. Intellectual Property

All course videos, text, images, downloadable resources, and other materials made available through the Services are owned by MyBeautyPick or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 3, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Downloadable Resources

Downloadable learning resources and educational materials are licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be resold, redistributed, or used to create competing products or services.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Services rely on third-party providers, including Paddle (payments) and our learning management infrastructure, to operate. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services outside our control.

11. Disclaimers

Course content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional, medical, or legal advice. We do not guarantee any specific career, licensing, or business outcome from completing a course. You are responsible for complying with any licensing or certification requirements applicable to beauty, skincare, or wellness services in your location.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyBeautyPick and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the course or resource giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time; however, termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund except as described in our Refund Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Effective Date” above, and continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by generally applicable consumer protection and contract law principles, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country or state of residence.
